Government के अनुसार December 2023 से अब तक 30 Amrit Bharat Express trains operational हो चुकी हैं और इनमें 9 new services add की गई हैं। इस expansion से nationwide rail coverage मजबूत हुई है और दूर-दराज़ के क्षेत्रों तक connectivity बेहतर हुई है। New routes Northeast, eastern, central, western और southern India को connect कर रही हैं। ये routes border areas, major cities और pilgrimage centres को जोड़ रही हैं, जिससे regional balance और travel access में सुधार हो रहा है। Rail connectivity के इस expansion से लोगों की daily mobility आसान बन रही है।
Long-distance rail network को मजबूती
Official statement के अनुसार Amrit Bharat Express long-distance rail network को strengthen करने की दिशा में एक decisive step है। इसका focus inclusivity और large-scale connectivity पर रखा गया है। Better rail access से employment mobility, tourism, trade और education व healthcare तक access को support मिल रहा है। Government के मुताबिक Amrit Bharat trains पूरी तरह non-AC हैं। इनमें 11 General Class coaches, 8 Sleeper Class coaches, 1 Pantry Car और 2 Second Class–cum–Luggage–cum–Guard Vans शामिल हैं, जिनमें disabled-friendly compartments भी provide किए गए हैं। यह configuration general public की जरूरतों को ध्यान में रखकर design की गई है।
Affordable fares और transparent pricing
Statement में बताया गया है कि इन trains का fare लगभग Rs 500 प्रति 1,000 kilometres रखा गया है, जबकि short और medium-distance journeys के लिए proportionately lower pricing apply की गई है। Fare structure simple और transparent रखा गया है और इसमें dynamic pricing use नहीं किया गया है। Amrit Bharat Express का उद्देश्य उन regions को connect करना है जो distance और opportunity के कारण अक्सर अलग-थलग रहते हैं। यह service employment, education और family-related travel को support करती है और affordable long-distance connectivity को expand करने की national strategy का हिस्सा है।

Affordability, wide geographic reach और passenger-oriented design के combination से यह service economic integration और social cohesion को strengthen कर रही है। Network के लगातार expand होने के साथ Amrit Bharat Express people, regions और opportunities को जोड़ने में long-term role निभाने के लिए positioned है। Official statement के अनुसार यह train service everyday travellers के लिए एक significant milestone बनकर उभरी है।
