Tamil Nadu की tax authority ने Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd पर लगाए गए Rs 266.3 crore के tax demand notice को withdraw कर दिया है and the company said there will be no financial impact.

Regulatory filing में Dalmia Bharat ने बताया कि उसकी wholly-owned subsidiary, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Ltd, को earlier Central GST Act 2017 और Tamil Nadu GST Act 2017 के तहत show-cause notice भेजे गए थे।

🔍 Reason Behind Notice | नोटिस का कारण

Notices taxable turnover और ITC amount में differences के कारण भेजे गए थे और मामला AY 2019-20 तथा AY 2022-23 से जुड़ा हुआ था according to the company statement.

💰 Breakdown of Demand | मांग का विवरण

For AY 2019-20, department ने tax Rs 128.39 crore और penalty Rs 19.25 crore की मांग की थी जबकि AY 2022-23 के लिए tax Rs 59.32 crore और समान penalty का notice जारी किया गया था.

✅ Department Decision | विभाग का निर्णय

Adjudication proceedings के बाद department ने पूरी proposed demand को drop कर दिया and both tax and penalties were cancelled.

Company ने साफ किया कि इन notices का कोई financial burden नहीं पड़ेगा and it confirmed that “there will be no financial impact on DCBL.”
