Rajshree Upadhyaya | Jaipur | Business Remedies | April 16,2025 | In the bustling lanes of Borivali, Mumbai, a young woman with a creative spark decided to turn her passion into a purpose. At just 18 years old, Khushi Mandlik founded Pretty Little Shopp in 2020, with the simple yet powerful intention of creating gifts that speak the language of emotions. What began as a college student’s side project soon blossomed into one of India’s most loved personalized gifting brands, rooted in heartfelt storytelling, intricate design, and the power of memories.
Khushi’s idea was born from the belief that gifts should be more than objects, they should be stories wrapped in creativity. Her earliest offerings included polaroid-themed memory sets, moon sign keychains, fingerprint-engraved accessories, and scannable barcode tokens of favorite songs.
Every product reflected a deep understanding of human connection, drawing in a Gen Z and millennial audience that craved meaning over mass production. Pretty Little Shopp wasn’t just another online store, it was a sanctuary for people who wanted to give something that mattered.
As orders picked up and word spread, Khushi was managing everything herself, from designing and crafting to packaging and handling customer queries. What set her apart was the personal involvement she poured into each detail, ensuring that every item felt like it was made by someone who truly cared. This dedication not only won her loyal customers but also gave her the confidence to take her brand to a larger stage.
In January 2025, Khushi appeared on the Campus Special episode of Shark Tank India Season 4, hoping to secure funding to scale her business. Seeking Rs. 30 lakhs in exchange for 10% equity, she shared her vision of expanding the brand, introducing semi-automated production, and opening offline stores.

Although the sharks praised her determination and creativity, concerns around scalability and operational sustainability prevented a deal. Still, Khushi walked away with something far more valuable, insight, visibility, and the validation that her idea had the potential to go national.
And it did. Pretty Little Shopp’s appearance on Shark Tank India turned into a major turning point. The brand witnessed a surge in orders, its Instagram following grew exponentially, and customers from across the country began reaching out. Khushi capitalized on this momentum by improving her website, streamlining production, and launching newer, more innovative products such as 3D memory boxes and curated celebration kits. Through reels, behind-the-scenes stories, and customer testimonials, Pretty Little Shopp became more than a brand, it became a part of people’s most special moments.
Today, Pretty Little Shopp operates from Borivali West, with everything from design to dispatch managed in-house to maintain quality and timeliness. With over 30,000 happy customers worldwide and a growing team behind her, Khushi continues to lead her brand with the same authenticity and passion she started with. She has become a role model for aspiring entrepreneurs, especially young women, showing that it’s possible to build something beautiful from scratch, without a business degree or a hefty investment, just with a clear vision and relentless dedication.
As she looks to the future, Khushi remains focused on evolving Pretty Little Shopp into a household name in personalized gifting. With plans to expand the product line, invest in automation, and tap into international markets, her journey is far from over. What she has built is not just a brand, but a celebration of love, memories, and the magic that happens when a gift truly feels like it was made just for you.
