Business Remedies | Shruti Kothari | July 02,2025 | Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, is all set to welcome monsoon with the soulful melodies of Malhar Mahotsav, a three-day cultural extravaganza celebrating classical music and dance. Organized by the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Rajasthan, the event will take place from 2nd to 4th July 2025 at Rangayan Auditorium, with performances beginning every evening at 7:00 PM.
The festival opens today with enthralling instrumental recitals by Anil Gangani on the bansuri (flute) and Amiruddin Khan on the sarangi.
On 3rd July, the stage will witness mesmerizing performances by Ustad Anwar Hussain on santoor, and a captivating violin jugalbandi by Pt. Kailash Chandra Mothiya, Yogesh Chandra Mothiya, and Kailash Ranjani Bela.
The final evening on 4th July will feature a grand Kathak performance led by Padmeshwar Lal Kathak and the Lal Vah Kathak troupe, followed by an ensemble presentation titled “Abhasasur Mohiniya” by Dinesh Pathirkar, showcasing a creative Kathak dance composition.
The entry is free for all, inviting art lovers of Jaipur to immerse themselves in the magic of Indian classical traditions during this monsoon season.
