IndiGo ने $820 Million Investment मंजूर किया — Aircraft Ownership Strategy को बढ़ावा

देश की सबसे बड़ी low-cost airline IndiGo ने शुक्रवार को बताया कि उसके बोर्ड ने $820 million (₹7,294 crore) के capital investment को मंजूरी दी है, जिससे कंपनी aviation assets खरीदकर aircraft ownership हासिल कर सकेगी।

🏢 Investment Through IndiGo IFSC

यह निवेश IndiGo की wholly-owned subsidiary, InterGlobe Aviation Financial Services IFSC Pvt. Ltd. (IndiGo IFSC) के लिए मंजूर किया गया है।

IndiGo के अनुसार:

• Investment equity shares और 0.01% Non-Cumulative OCRPS के संयोजन से किया जाएगा।

• फंड का उपयोग मुख्य रूप से aviation assets acquisition और aircraft ownership को सक्षम करने में होगा।

• फंड infusion FY 2025-26 में कई tranches में किया जाएगा।

💰 Breakdown of the Investment

कंपनी करेगी:

• $770 million (₹68,492 million) की equity subscription (₹10 face value, ₹10.92 valuation)।

• $50 million (₹4,448 million) के 0.01% OCRPS (₹100 face value)।

IndiGo ने कहा कि इस निवेश के बाद भी IndiGo IFSC पूरी तरह से कंपनी की wholly owned subsidiary बनी रहेगी।

🛫 Shift Toward Aircraft Ownership

IndiGo ने बताया कि ऐतिहासिक रूप से उसका fleet operating leases पर आधारित रहा है, लेकिन हाल के वर्षों में कंपनी ने balanced ownership structure और diversified financing की दिशा में रणनीतिक कदम उठाए हैं।

यह कदम prudent capital allocation और sustainable value creation को बढ़ावा देगा।

IndiGo का वर्तमान संचालन:

• 400+ aircraft fleet

• 2,300 daily flights

• 90+ domestic और 40+ international destinations

IndiGo IFSC, जो Gift City (Ahmedabad) में 2023 में स्थापित हुई थी, aircraft और engine leasing तथा संबंधित financial services प्रदान करती है।
