India 2031 तक 1 billion+ 5G subscriptions पार करने की दिशा में, Ericsson report ने बताया

भारत 2031 तक 1 बिलियन से अधिक 5G सब्सक्रिप्शन्स पार करने के लिए तैयार है, जैसा कि Ericsson Mobility Report (Nov 2025) में कहा गया है।
According to the report, this milestone would give India nearly 79% 5G subscription penetration, showcasing remarkable digital adoption within just three years of nationwide rollout.

रिपोर्ट के अनुसार भारत दुनिया के सबसे तेजी से बढ़ते 5G बाजारों में शामिल है।
By the end of 2025, India is expected to reach 394 million 5G users, forming 32% of all mobile subscriptions across the country.

📱📈 Highest Mobile Data Usage in the World

Ericsson India के MD नितिन बंसल ने कहा कि भारत में mobile data consumption दुनिया में सबसे ज्यादा है।
The average data usage currently stands at 36 GB per smartphone per month, and is projected to rise to 65 GB by 2031.
उन्होंने बताया कि सस्ता 5G FWA उपकरण और भारी data usage इस growth को तेज़ कर रहे हैं।

🌍 Global 5G Outlook: 6.4 Billion Subscriptions by 2031

Global स्तर पर, रिपोर्ट में अनुमान है कि 2031 तक 6.4 बिलियन 5G subscriptions हो जाएंगी — यानी सभी मोबाइल कनेक्शनों का दो-तिहाई हिस्सा।
In 2025 alone, global 5G subscriptions are projected to reach 2.9 billion, growing by 600 million in a single year.

📡🌐 Rapid Expansion in 5G Coverage Worldwide

रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक 2025 में दुनिया भर में 40 करोड़ लोग 5G coverage के दायरे में आएंगे।
By the end of the same year, half of the global population outside mainland China is expected to have 5G access.

💾📊 Mobile Data Traffic Surges

Q3 2024 से Q3 2025 के बीच mobile network data traffic में 20% की बढ़ोतरी दर्ज की गई, और इसका सबसे बड़ा योगदान भारत व चीन से आया।
By 2025, 5G networks will carry 43% of all mobile data, rising sharply to 83% by 2031.

🏠📡 Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) Becomes Major 5G Use Case

Fixed Wireless Access 5G का सबसे बड़ा उपयोग बनता जा रहा है।
The EMR estimates that 1.4 billion people will be connected via FWA by 2031 — और इनमें से 90% connections 5G पर आधारित होंगे।

Currently, 159 global service providers offer 5G-based FWA services, making up 65% of all FWA operators worldwide.
