French President Emmanuel Macron ने February में India visit की पुष्टि की है, जहां वह AI Impact Summit में हिस्सा लेंगे। यह Summit artificial intelligence के global impact, governance और inclusive development पर केंद्रित रहेगा। Macron ने यह जानकारी Diplomatic Corps को संबोधित करते हुए दी, जहां उन्होंने 2025 में French diplomacy की achievements पर भी प्रकाश डाला। अपने address में Emmanuel Macron ने कहा कि Artificial Intelligence summit French diplomacy की एक बड़ी success रही है। उन्होंने बताया कि Paris में आयोजित AI summit में पूरी world community शामिल हुई थी। इस summit को France ने Prime Minister Narendra Modi के साथ co-chair किया था। Macron के अनुसार, इस initiative पर आगे बढ़ने के लिए वह अगले महीने India आएंगे और cooperation को और मजबूत करेंगे।
India–France cooperation और global diplomacy पर प्रभाव
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar ने इससे पहले अपने French counterpart Jean-Noël Barrot के साथ meeting के दौरान यह कहा था कि India, President Macron के visit की प्रतीक्षा कर रहा है। Jaishankar ने यह भी रेखांकित किया कि India और France international arena में active role निभा रहे हैं और multipolarity के लिए committed हैं। दोनों देशों का साथ मिलकर काम करना न केवल bilateral relationship के लिए बल्कि global politics को stabilise करने के लिए भी जरूरी है। इससे पहले Paris में External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar ने French President Emmanuel Macron से मुलाकात की थी। इस meeting में India–France strategic partnership की मजबूती को reaffirm किया गया और मौजूदा geopolitical तथा economic transition के दौर में global developments पर विचार-विमर्श किया गया। EAM Jaishankar ने social media platform X पर लिखा कि उन्हें President Emmanuel Macron से मिलकर खुशी हुई और उन्होंने Prime Minister Narendra Modi की ओर से शुभकामनाएं पहुंचाईं। उन्होंने contemporary global developments पर Macron के विचारों और strategic partnership के प्रति सकारात्मक दृष्टिकोण की सराहना भी की।
AI Impact Summit 2026 और Global South की भूमिका
India और France के बीच strategic partnership defence, space, civil nuclear cooperation, clean energy और Indo-Pacific जैसे क्षेत्रों में फैली हुई है। इसी partnership का विस्तार AI Impact Summit 2026 के रूप में भी दिखाई देगा। यह summit Prime Minister Narendra Modi ने France AI Action Summit के दौरान announce किया था। India-AI Impact Summit 2026, February 19-20 को New Delhi में आयोजित किया जाएगा। यह Global South में hosted होने वाला पहला global AI summit होगा, जो developing countries के लिए technology access, policy framework और ethical AI पर चर्चा का बड़ा मंच बनेगा। Summit से पहले Prime Minister Narendra Modi ने 7, Lok Kalyan Marg स्थित अपने residence पर Indian AI startups के साथ एक roundtable की chairmanship की। इस interaction में PM Modi ने startups से आग्रह किया कि उनके AI models ethical, unbiased, transparent हों और data privacy principles पर आधारित रहें। Prime Minister ने यह भी कहा कि India global leadership की दिशा में काम कर सकता है, क्योंकि देश affordable, inclusive और frugal innovation आधारित AI solutions को दुनिया के सामने प्रस्तुत करने की क्षमता रखता है। PM Modi ने artificial intelligence की भूमिका को society में transformation लाने के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण बताया।
