नई दिल्ली: सरकारी स्वामित्व वाली प्रमुख खनन कंपनी Coal India Limited (CIL) ने पारंपरिक खनन तरीकों से आगे बढ़ते हुए Underground (UG) और Open Cast (OC) Mining Operations को आधुनिक तकनीक से जोड़ने की दिशा में बड़ा बदलाव शुरू किया है। Coal Ministry की ओर से जारी Factsheet के अनुसार, कंपनी अब Smart Mining Operations की ओर तेजी से बढ़ रही है।
AI और Digital Technology का इस्तेमाल
Coal India ने Mining Operations में Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI) और Data Analytics जैसी तकनीकों को अपनाना शुरू किया है। इन Digital Interventions से खतरों को कम करने, Coal Recovery Rate बढ़ाने, Predictive Maintenance, Smart Control Rooms, Automated Dispatch और Smart Mines को विकसित करने में मदद मिल रही है।
भू-वैज्ञानिक सर्वे और Machine Learning से बेहतर खोज
कंपनी ने Coal Resources की पहचान के लिए Advanced Exploration Techniques अपनाई हैं। इसमें Core Drilling, 2D/3D Seismic Survey, Remote Sensing, GIS, LiDAR और Drone Technology का उपयोग किया जा रहा है। Spectral Enhancement (SPE) Assaying से Coal Quality Assessment को अधिक प्रभावी बनाया जा रहा है। वहीं Machine Learning Models जैसे SVM, Decision Tree, Random Forest, MLP और XGBoost की मदद से Coal Seam Analysis किया जा रहा है।
सुरक्षित और Environment Friendly Mining पर जोर
Coal India Blast-Free Technology को बढ़ावा दे रही है, जिससे Dust, Noise और Vibration को कम करने में सहायता मिलेगी। कंपनी ने Electric Detonators की जगह Ultra-Safe Electronic Detonators को अपनाया है। इसके अलावा AI-based Safety Systems, Operator Fatigue Monitoring, Proximity Warning, 360 Degree Cameras और Automatic Fire Detection Systems लगाए जा रहे हैं।
Underground Mining को मिलेगा नया विस्तार
CIL का लक्ष्य Underground Production को लगभग 100 Million Tonnes तक बढ़ाना है। इसके लिए Continuous Miner, Longwall और Highwall Technology का इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है। कंपनी Paste Fill Technology के माध्यम से Pillars में सुरक्षित तरीके से बंद उच्च गुणवत्ता वाले Coal Resources को भी उपयोग में लाने की योजना बना रही है।
Digital Infrastructure से बढ़ेगी कार्यक्षमता
Coal Evacuation को मजबूत करने के लिए First Mile Connectivity (FMC) और Railway Infrastructure Projects पर निवेश किया जा रहा है। वहीं Integrated Command and Control Centres (ICCCs), GPS Fleet Monitoring, RFID Systems, SAP S/4HANA, Cloud Infrastructure और Data Analytics के जरिए कंपनी Digital Transformation को आगे बढ़ा रही है।
Autonomous और Low Carbon Mining की तैयारी
भविष्य में Coal India Intelligent, Autonomous और Low Carbon Mining Model की ओर बढ़ने की योजना बना रही है। SECL और NCL में Remote-operated Dozers, Electric Mobility, Trolley Assist Technology और 5G आधारित Underground Mining Solutions पर काम किया जा रहा है। IIT Madras के साथ मिलकर कंपनी Fossil Fuel Equipment के Safe Electrification पर भी काम कर रही है।
