When the founders presented their business to investors on national television, they sought Rs. 1 crore in exchange for 1 percent equity, valuing the company at Rs. 100 crore. After negotiations, they secured an investment in which Namita Thapar and Ritesh Agarwal offered Rs. 50 lakh for 1 percent equity along with Rs. 50 lakh as debt at 9 percent interest, providing both funding and strategic support for the company’s expansion.
Beyond financial growth, the founders remain focused on a deeper mission of making agriculture more efficient for Indian farmers.
