Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Vidyashram, Pratapnagar, celebrated its 16th Annual Day, ‘अनुगूंज – Echoes of Eternal Love’ with great enthusiasm and grandeur on 1st November, 2025 at the Maharana Pratap Auditorium. The occasion was graced by Shri Rajan Vishal, Secretary, Agriculture, Horticulture and Panchayati Raj (Agriculture) Jaipur, who honoured the event as the Chief Guest. The celebration witnessed the esteemed presence of the Chairman Shri V.C. Surana and the distinguished members of the management, parents, teachers and students, all gathered to commemorate the school’s achievements and enjoy an evening filled with cultural brilliance.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Rajan Vishal, was accorded a ceremonial welcome as he entered the auditorium, accompanied by the chanting of the sacred mantras of Swasti Vachanam and the resonant beats of the school band, creating an atmosphere of divinity and pride. The auspicious beginning set a perfect tone for the celebration that followed.
The celebration commenced with a warm and graceful welcome ceremony. Smt. Ajayshree Sharma, the Principal of the school, then presented the Annual Report, offering an insightful overview of the institution’s journey over the past academic year. In her eloquent address, she highlighted the school’s significant achievements, milestones and initiatives, reflecting its unwavering commitment to academic excellence, holistic development and value-based education.
Following the presentation of the Annual Report, the stage was set for the felicitation ceremony, where meritorious students were honoured for their exceptional achievements in academics and co-curricular activities. The principal, along with members of the management, conferred awards upon the young achievers as the audience applauded their hard work and dedication.
The formal proceedings then transitioned into a captivating cultural program centered on the theme — the evolving relationship between parents and children. The performances beautifully depicted how this special bond, rooted in love and understanding, changes with time — sometimes strained during adolescence, yet always enduring and deeply connected.
The tiny tots of the school captivated the audience with their delightful performances on “Ta Ra Rum Pum” and “Chanda Chamke.” Their graceful movements and infectious enthusiasm won every heart, earning resounding applause.
The highlight of the evening was an evocative mime act that powerfully portrayed the emotional journey between parents and children — from the innocence of childhood to the challenges of growing up, and ultimately to reconciliation and renewed understanding. The act, along with a series of expressive dances and soulful musical renditions, beautifully conveyed the timeless message that, despite generational differences, the love between parents and children remains unbroken.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing heartfelt gratitude to the Chief Guest, dignitaries, teachers, students, and parents for their continued support and encouragement.
