Yuva Connect Programme Organized in New Delhi to Link Youth with the Vision of Viksit Bharat 2047

New Delhi. The Yuva Connect Programme was successfully organized at JIMS, Sector-5, Rohini, New Delhi. The event was conducted under a national initiative with the objective of connecting youth with the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. The programme served as a platform to engage students in meaningful dialogue about nation-building, civic participation, and the role of youth in shaping India’s future.

The program was organized under the guidance of Principal and Nodal Officer Dr. Praveen Arora and was coordinated by Viksit Bharat Convenor Deepika. Students enthusiastically participated in the session, gathering to understand the mission of building a developed and self-reliant India.

The objective of the Yuva Connect Programme was to connect youth with the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 through structured engagement and civic participation; to empower youth through dialogue with policymakers, public representatives, and youth icons; to promote digital participation and registration on the My Bharat portal; to encourage volunteerism; and to create a nationwide database of active youth contributing to national development.

The program commenced with a warm welcome to distinguished guests and participants. Addressing the gathering, Viksit Bharat Convenor Deepika emphasized the importance of youth participation in national development. She highlighted the role of educational institutions in shaping responsible citizens who contribute positively to society.

A major highlight of the event was an interaction with Youth Icon Ms. Lavisha Arora. She shared her inspiring journey and encouraged students to develop leadership skills, social responsibility, and a spirit of national service. Her address motivated students to actively participate in initiatives contributing to the country’s development. During the session, the Youth Icon delivered an insightful presentation through two engaging PPTs focused on the themes “Vande Mataram—A Civilizational Mantra for Viksit Bharat 2047” and “Viksit Bharat 2047: A Civilizational Mission.” She highlighted the historical and cultural significance of Vande Mataram as a symbol that inspired India’s freedom movement and represents the nation’s spirit, unity, and civilizational identity. Explaining the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, she emphasized the importance of youth participation in achieving a developed, self-reliant, and globally respected India. Through examples related to Digital India, infrastructure development, women-led development, innovation, and sustainable progress, she encouraged students to actively contribute to nation-building and adopt a sense of duty toward the country’s future.

ImageAn interactive Youth Dialogue session was also conducted during the program, where students shared their thoughts, perspectives, and aspirations regarding India’s progress. The session promoted constructive discussion and provided a platform for students to express their views on the nation’s future.

Key highlights of the programme included the inspirational address by the Youth Icon, an insightful interaction with a ministry representative, active student participation in the youth dialogue discussion, and creating awareness about the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 and Vande Mataram.

According to the organizers, the Yuva Connect Programme held at JIMS Rohini proved to be a meaningful and impactful initiative, inspiring students to actively contribute to India’s development journey. The program strengthened the connection between youth and the national vision and encouraged students to take responsibility as future leaders of the country.
