Teej is more than just a festival. It is a heartfelt expression of India’s timeless traditions, especially cherished by women. It signifies good fortune, deep love, and the hope for familial harmony. Celebrated during the monsoon-laced month of Shravan, Teej brings with it the melodies of folk songs, the elegance of traditional attire, and the joyful rhythm of swings swaying under the rain-kissed sky.
Carrying forward this vibrant legacy, Shakti Foundation hosted a delightful Teej and Leheriya Utsav yesterday in Jaipur, where celebration met sisterhood. Adorned in coordinated leheriya lehengas, the Shakti core team reflected unity in style. Members beautified their hands with intricate mehendi designs, danced to soulful Sawan geet, and immersed themselves in the festive spirit.
A special highlight of the event was a live session by renowned makeup artist Ritu Sharma , who shared expert skincare tips for the monsoon. From hydrating routines to beauty essentials, she offered practical guidance to help women glow through the season.
From meticulous planning to enthusiastic participation, Shakti Foundation members played an active role in making the event a memorable one. The presence of Atika, Yukti, Meenakshi, Komal, Khushboo, and Anju added sparkle and charm to the celebration, embodying the true spirit of Teej with joy, devotion, and grace.
