Business Remedies,Delhi: Sri Alexander George Muthoot, Joint Managing Director of The Muthoot Group, visited Sri.Harminder Sahib (Golden Temple) to offer prayers and seek blessings for The Muthoot Group and the citizens of our nation. He marked his visit with an offering of SEVA and by partaking in Langar Prasad, embodying the spirit of humility and community service that the temple represents.
Sri. Alexander George Muthoot was warmly received by the Chief Secretary of the Golden Temple’s organizing committee, who commended The Muthoot Group’s contributions to Punjab’s economy through accessible financial services and job creation for the youth of Punjab.
During his time in Amritsar, Sri. Muthoot also visited the JallianwalaBagh Memorial to pay homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for India’s freedom. He further visited the Attari Border, where he expressed gratitude and support for the Border Security Force, honoring their dedication as India’s first line of defense.

Alexander George Muthoot shared, “It was truly a blessed experience to bow my head at Sri.Harminder Sahib and seek blessings for our organization, all Muthootians, and my fellow citizens of our great nation. This was my first visit, and the experience at the Gurudwara was truly humbling and serene. The Golden Temple’s grandeur and spiritual energy left me deeply moved. It was a moment of peace and reflection and I felt grateful to have had the opportunity to visit. I am also very happy that I could participate in the LangarSeva which is something I always wanted to do.
Punjab held a special place in my father’s heart—our former Group Chairman, Late Sri. M. G. George Muthoot. He established our third branch in North, East, and West India in Chandigarh in 1982. Today, we have over 220 branches in Punjab, fostering financial inclusion and providing significant employment opportunities to the youth of this state. We are committed to expanding further in Punjab, helping residents realize their dreams and goals.”
