RVNL को मिला ₹2,977 करोड़ का बड़ा contract, Visakhapatnam में बनाएगी 10 MTPA logistics facility
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited यानी RVNL को government mining company NMDC Limited से ₹2,977 करोड़ का बड़ा infrastructure contract मिला है। यह project Andhra Pradesh के Visakhapatnam में buffer stockpile और blending facility के development से जुड़ा है।
Stock exchange को दी गई जानकारी के अनुसार, इस project के तहत 10 MTPA यानी 10 million tonnes per annum material handling capacity वाला buffer stockpile और blending yard स्थापित किया जाएगा। यह facility Visakhapatnam port पर NMDC की logistics और material handling capacity को मजबूत बनाने में मदद करेगी।
RVNL ने कहा कि कंपनी को NMDC Limited से Andhra Pradesh के Visakhapatnam में 10 MTPA capacity वाले buffer stockpile और blending yard की स्थापना के लिए Letter of Award मिला है।
कंपनी ने बताया कि यह contract एक domestic entity द्वारा normal course of business के तहत दिया गया है। RVNL ने यह भी साफ किया कि यह related party transaction के दायरे में नहीं आता।
RVNL के अनुसार, उसके promoters या promoter group की किसी भी company का NMDC में कोई financial या other interest नहीं है।
इस project को contract मिलने की तारीख से 42 महीनों के भीतर पूरा किया जाना है। Project operational होने के बाद iron ore और other raw materials के storage, management और transportation में सुधार होने की उम्मीद है। इससे supply chain efficiency को भी boost मिलेगा।
Buffer stockpile और blending yard जैसी facilities mining और bulk material handling industry में काफी important मानी जाती हैं। इनके जरिए companies अपने raw material stock का बेहतर management कर सकती हैं और customers को consistent quality वाला material उपलब्ध करा सकती हैं।
Visakhapatnam में proposed यह नई facility NMDC की बढ़ती logistics जरूरतों को पूरा करने के साथ-साथ material handling operations को और अधिक efficient बनाने में मदद करेगी।
