Strategic Health Dialogue: भारत–नॉर्वे ने Digital Health और Disease Research में सहयोग बढ़ाया

Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal ने Norway के Health Minister Jan Christian Vestre से मुलाकात की, जिसका उद्देश्य healthcare, pharmaceuticals और technology के क्षेत्रों में bilateral ties को गहराई देना है।

Vestre, who is Norway’s Minister of Health and Care Services, India के health sector में collaboration को आगे बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से भारत दौरे पर हैं।

Goyal ने X पर पोस्ट करते हुए कहा,
“हमने healthcare, pharmaceuticals और tech-led innovation में cooperation deepen करने पर चर्चा की, ताकि हमारे लोगों को affordable और accessible care मिल सके।”

🏥 JP Nadda & Vestre: Digital Health से लेकर Disease Research तक चर्चा

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda ने भी Vestre से मुलाकात कर India की key health priorities पर विचार-विमर्श किया, जिनमें शामिल हैं:

• Digital health advancement

• Human resource development

• Maternal & child nutrition

• Collaborative disease research

Nadda ने health, medicine और drug regulation में cooperation deep करने के लिए MoU signing का प्रस्ताव भी दिया।

Nadda ने X पर कहा:
“I proposed signing of MoUs to further collaboration in health, medicine and drug regulation.”

उन्होंने bilateral relations और health partnership को आगे बढ़ाने की उम्मीद जताई।

💡 Vestre to Attend Bengaluru Tech Summit

Vestre, जिन्होंने पिछले वर्ष भारत को Norway के Minister of Trade के रूप में visit किया था, इस बार Bengaluru Tech Summit में भी भाग लेंगे।

🌍 NIPI: India–Norway के Health Cooperation की Backbone

Norway India Partnership Initiative (NIPI), जो दोनों देशों के बीच एक flagship collaboration है, तीन phases successfully पूरा कर चुका है और अभी अपने Phase IV में है।

इस initiative का उद्देश्य है:

• India की National Health Policy और SDGs को support करना

• Ministry of Health और National Health Mission (NHM) को technical support देना

📑 NIPI Phase IV: 2025 Progress & Budget Review

October में Union Health Secretary Punya Salila Srivastava और Norway की Ambassador May-Elin Stener ने NIPI की वार्षिक बैठक की अध्यक्षता की।
बैठक में:

• NIPI Progress Report 2025 की समीक्षा

• 2025–26 budgeted work plans की मंज़ूरी दी गई
