Indian hospital industry का business outlook positive बना हुआ है, और sector revenue के FY2027 में 18–20 प्रतिशत तक बढ़ने की expectation जताई गई है, जो FY2026 में 18 प्रतिशत के स्तर पर रहा था, एक latest report में कहा गया।
ICRA Report में High Occupancy और ARPOB Support
Credit rating agency ICRA की report के अनुसार, growth का आधार 11 leading listed hospital companies का sample set है, जहां sustained high occupancy और healthy average revenue per occupied bed (ARPOB) sector performance को support कर रहा है। FY2026 में Indian hospital sector ने 16–18 प्रतिशत growth दर्ज किया, जो strong structural tailwinds और robust operating metrics की expectation को reflect करता है। ICRA में Vice President और Sector Head, Corporate Ratings, Mythri Macherla ने कहा कि Indian hospital industry का performance FY2026 में healthy occupancy और ARPOB के कारण strong बना रहने की उम्मीद है। उन्होंने बताया कि ICRA sample set companies की occupancy FY2026 में 62–64 प्रतिशत रहने की expectation है, जबकि FY2025 में यह 63.5 प्रतिशत थी। वहीं ARPOB के 6–8 प्रतिशत तक expand होने की संभावना जताई गई है।
H1 FY2026 में Revenue और Margin Healthy
Report के अनुसार, FY2026 के first half में sample set companies ने year-on-year basis पर 16 प्रतिशत revenue growth दर्ज किया। इस दौरान occupancy 63.3 प्रतिशत रही और ARPOB में 7.8 प्रतिशत की increase देखी गई। H1 FY2026 में operating profit margin (OPM) 23.7 प्रतिशत पर healthy बना रहा, जिसे improved case mix और cost optimisation ने support किया।
Cost Optimisation से Margin Stability
Mythri Macherla ने कहा कि cost optimisation efforts और improving case एवं payor mix FY2026 में OPM को 22–24 प्रतिशत के range में support करेंगे, जबकि FY2025 में यह 23.6 प्रतिशत रहा था। ICRA ने note किया कि metros, tier-II और tier-III cities में greenfield और brownfield expansions की sizeable plans के बावजूद, sample set companies का credit profile strong accrual expectations के कारण healthy बना रहेगा।
Pharmaceutical Sector के लिए Stable Outlook
Pharmaceutical sector के लिए ICRA ने FY2026 में ‘stable’ outlook affirm किया है। Report के अनुसार, sample set pharmaceutical companies की revenue FY2026 में 9–11 प्रतिशत तक expand होने की expectation है। Domestic market में 8–10 प्रतिशत growth और European markets में 15–17 प्रतिशत growth revenue को support करेगी। हालांकि, US market में Lenalidomide जैसे key drugs पर pricing pressure के कारण growth 4–6 प्रतिशत तक moderate रहने की संभावना है Pharmaceutical companies के sample set का operating profit margin FY2026 में 24–25 प्रतिशत पर stable रहने की expectation है, जिसे key markets में healthy performance और stable raw material costs support करेंगे।
