Deeptech में बढ़ा निवेश
New Delhi में जारी एक Report के मुताबिक, India के Deeptech Sector ने 2015 से 2026 के अब तक के समय में करीब $11.4 Billion का Private Equity और Venture Capital Investment आकर्षित किया है। Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA) की Report में बताया गया कि Startup Funding में व्यापक सुस्ती के बावजूद 2025 Deeptech निवेश के लिहाज से अब तक का सबसे मजबूत वर्ष रहा।
AI और EV पर निवेशकों का फोकस
Report के अनुसार, 2016 के बाद से Deeptech Sector में Investment Activity तेजी से बढ़ी है। Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Electric Vehicles (EVs) और Battery Technologies में बड़ी मात्रा में Capital लगाया गया। वहीं, Semiconductors और Spacetech सबसे तेजी से बढ़ने वाले Segments के रूप में सामने आए हैं।
Funding Gap बनी बड़ी चुनौती
IVCA President Rajat Tandon के अनुसार, India का Deeptech Ecosystem अब संभावनाओं के चरण से आगे बढ़कर Institutional Investors को आकर्षित कर रहा है। हालांकि, Series B और Series C स्तर पर Funding Gap अभी भी बड़ी चुनौती है। इसके साथ Domestic Limited Partner (LP) Participation बढ़ाने, Exit Opportunities सुधारने और Policy Ecosystem को मजबूत करने की जरूरत बताई गई है।
Bengaluru सबसे बड़ा Investment Hub
Geographical स्तर पर Bengaluru पिछले एक दशक में Deeptech Investment का सबसे बड़ा Hub बना हुआ है। यहां कुल Deals और Funding का करीब आधा हिस्सा दर्ज किया गया। वहीं Ahmedabad, Kochi और Kolkata जैसे Emerging Centres में भी Deeptech Activity बढ़ रही है।
Growth Stage पर Capital की कमी
Report में कहा गया है कि Seed Stage के बाद Investor Participation तेजी से घटता है। Deep Technologies को Commercialise करने में लंबा समय लगने के कारण Growth Stage में बड़े Investments उपलब्ध कराने वाले Funds की संख्या सीमित है। फिलहाल India का Deeptech LP Base मुख्य रूप से Domestic Investors, Family Offices, Institutions और High-Net-Worth Individuals पर आधारित है, जबकि Global और Corporate LPs की भागीदारी भी धीरे-धीरे बढ़ रही है।
