Business Remedies | Shruti Kothari| July 01,2025 | The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Kota Branch, has launched CA Week 2025 with a series of events focused on service, awareness, and empowerment. The celebrations, marking the 77th Chartered Accountants Day, will run from July 1 to July 7. The festivities began today with a grand inauguration and flag hoisting ceremony at the New Dhanmandi ICAI office, attended by members, students, and dignitaries. The day also witnessed a blood donation camp inaugurated by CMA Dr. Narendra Nagar, drawing participation from over 125 volunteers.
Branch Chairman CA Deepak Singhal shared that the theme of this year’s celebration revolves around Green Kota, Clean Kota, with various programs like plantation drives, seminars, and awareness campaigns promoting sustainability and social responsibility.
A medical camp will be organized on the first day from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the branch premises. In the evening, a special movie screening will be held for CA members and their families.
CA Sudhanshu Upadhyay, Chairman of the SICASA Committee, informed that indoor and outdoor games will be organized for CA members on July 2, including badminton, table tennis, pickleball, carrom, and chess. One of the major highlights is a walkathon and Zumba session scheduled for July 3 at City Park, from 6 AM to 8 AM. Additionally, a CA Women Empowerment Seminar will be hosted at a local hotel, focusing on leadership, financial independence, and personal growth. The week will also see the CA Premier League cricket tournament, with four teams competing in a friendly yet competitive format.
On July 5 and 6, a road safety drive and a traffic awareness campaign will be held in association with the Kota Traffic Police, followed by felicitation of outstanding CA contributors in the region. The week-long celebration will conclude on July 7 with a panel discussion on Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) and other critical financial laws impacting global business today.
CA Week 2025 is being coordinated by CA Prakash Chaudhary and CA Rohit Patodi, with enthusiastic support from the entire ICAI Kota team and its student wing.
