Engineering Export Promotion Council (EEPC India) ने सरकार से आग्रह किया है कि steel और aluminium products, खासकर MSMEs द्वारा बनाए गए items, को India–US bilateral trade discussions में शामिल किया जाए 🔧📦
EEPC ने बताया कि US ने Section 232 के तहत 50% tariff लगाया है, जिससे engineering exports पर बड़ा असर पड़ा है और competitiveness कम हुई है 📉

“US tariff differential हमारे competitors से औसतन 30% ज्यादा है। अगर सरकार कम से कम 15% का support package देती है, तो exporters US market में अपनी स्थिति मजबूत रख सकते हैं।” 💬
