Next-generation batteries से Korea बनाएगा future mobility मजबूत

South Korea government ने announce किया है कि वह अगले चार सालों में 280 billion won ($191 million) invest करेगा next-generation battery technologies के development के लिए। इसमें all-solid-state, lithium metal और lithium sulfur batteries जैसी advanced technologies शामिल हैं।

यह plan national advanced industry committee meeting में reveal हुआ, जो Prime Minister Kim Min-seok की अध्यक्षता में हुई। Industry Ministry के मुताबिक इसका मकसद local companies की global competitiveness बढ़ाना और secondary battery sector में world leadership secure करना है।

Government का कहना है कि battery industry carbon neutrality और future mobility के लिए crucial है, लेकिन फिलहाल इसे challenges face करने पड़ रहे हैं — जैसे global EV slowdown और China का rising dominance।

South Korea एक 10-year roadmap तैयार करेगा ताकि industry को price competition पर नहीं, बल्कि technology leadership पर shift किया जा सके। साथ ही battery materials पर focus करके domestic ecosystem को मजबूत किया जाएगा।

🧪 Innovation & Commercialisation

Government companies को support देगी ताकि next-gen battery materials को commercialize किया जा सके और LFP batteries से बेहतर performance देने वाली standard-type batteries develop हों।

🌍 Reducing China Dependence

Korea अपनी China पर dependency कम करेगा खासकर critical minerals के मामले में। इसके लिए foreign countries के साथ partnerships बनाई जाएंगी और supply chain stability fund में 100 billion won डाले जाएंगे।

🚗 Demand Boost Measures

EV demand बढ़ाने के लिए subsidies का विस्तार किया जाएगा और taxes में cuts दिए जाएंगे। Defense, robotics और shipping industries से भी battery demand generate करने की strategy बनेगी।

🏭 Industrial Expansion

Rechargeable battery, defence और robotics कंपनियों के लिए new special industrial complexes designate किए जाएंगे ताकि production और innovation दोनों को boost मिले।
