भारत ने Chhattisgarh से 12 metric tonnes Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK) का पहला export consignment Costa Rica भेजा है। यह पहल APEDA (Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority) द्वारा की गई है और भारत की technological strength in food fortification और global nutrition commitment को दर्शाती है।
🇮🇳 Piyush Goyal का बयान
Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal ने X (Twitter) पर लिखा:
“Chhattisgarh से 12 MT Fortified Rice Kernel का पहला consignment Costa Rica को भेजा गया है। PM Narendra Modi जी के malnutrition के खिलाफ अभियान के तहत यह global effort न केवल हमारे foreign trade को मजबूत करता है, बल्कि हमारे nutrition mission को भी गति देता है।”
उन्होंने आगे कहा,
“यह हमारे किसानों, millers और exporters को नए markets, बेहतर price realisation और value-added agri exports के लिए promotion भी प्रदान करता है।”
🌾 Chhattisgarh की बड़ी उपलब्धि
राज्य सरकार ने लगातार rice और fortified rice products के export को बढ़ावा देने पर जोर दिया है, जिससे यहां के farmers, millers और exporters को international recognition मिल रही है।
Commerce Ministry के अनुसार:
“Costa Rica को FRK का सफल export Chhattisgarh की growing role को दर्शाता है global nutrition-enriched food supply chain में।”
🌍 India’s Global Nutrition Leadership
इस export से भारत की पहचान एक reliable supplier of nutritious and high-quality food products के रूप में और मजबूत हुई है।
APEDA Chairman Abhishek Dev ने कहा:
“Fortified rice का export न केवल भारत के agri-export portfolio को diversify करता है, बल्कि malnutrition से निपटने के हमारे science-based commitment को भी reaffirm करता है।”
🧬 What is Fortified Rice Kernel (FRK)?
- FRK को rice flour में micronutrients जैसे iron, folic acid, और vitamin B12 मिलाकर बनाया जाता है।
- इसे extrude कर rice grain जैसा आकार दिया जाता है।
- फिर इसे regular rice के साथ predetermined ratio में mix किया जाता है ताकि staple food की nutritional value बढ़ सके।
