Charu Bhatia, Senior News Editor, Business Remedies, in conversation with Dr. Ekta Bijeta, Founder of Grace Lifestyle Clinic

In today’s fast-paced world, wellness is no longer limited to treating symptoms, it is about understanding the deeper connection between lifestyle, nutrition, and overall health. Dr. Ekta Bijeta, Founder of Grace Lifestyle Clinic, has built her practice on this very philosophy. With a strong clinical background and a passion for root-cause healing, she has created an integrated wellness space that combines physiotherapy, skin and hair aesthetics, gut health, and personalized nutrition. In this conversation, Dr. Bijeta shares her journey, her approach to holistic healthcare, and her vision for transforming lives through science-backed, sustainable wellness.

Q. Tell us about your journey and the inspiration behind Grace Lifestyle Clinic.
A: My journey with Grace Lifestyle Clinic has been both challenging and deeply fulfilling. I began my career with a strong clinical foundation as an MPT (Orthopaedics) Gold Medalist, with my early focus rooted in physical rehabilitation. Working closely with patients dealing with chronic pain, mobility issues, and long-term injuries gave me immense satisfaction. However, over time, I noticed a recurring pattern, many patients who came in for physical concerns were also struggling with issues like weight gain, poor skin health, and chronic fatigue.

It became increasingly clear that these concerns were not isolated. Instead, they were deeply connected to lifestyle habits, nutrition, gut health, and internal imbalances. This realization became a turning point in my professional journey. I expanded my knowledge and training by becoming a PHATT-certified Global Gut Mentor and Collagen Therapist, while also gaining expertise in skin cosmetology, laser aesthetics, and trichology.

The idea behind Grace Lifestyle Clinic emerged from a simple but powerful belief: healthcare should treat the root cause, not just the symptoms. I wanted to create a space where patients could experience complete and integrated healing rather than fragmented treatments. We have a dedicated and expert medical team offering guidance on all lifestyle and related health problems.

Q. What makes Grace Lifestyle Clinic different from other wellness and aesthetic centres?
A: What truly sets us apart is our multidisciplinary, root-cause approach. We do not treat concerns in isolation. Instead, we integrate multiple specialties under one roof to provide holistic solutions.

Our services include advanced skin and laser treatments, hair and trichology solutions, clinical nutrition and gut health programs, weight management, and physiotherapy and rehabilitation. This seamless integration allows us to understand the patient as a whole rather than focusing on a single symptom.

One of our key strengths is the use of Quantum Analysis testing. This technology helps us assess internal deficiencies, metabolic patterns, and toxin levels. Based on this data, we design highly personalized treatment protocols that deliver long-term and sustainable results.

Q. Have you seen a rise in demand for holistic wellness in recent years?
A: Absolutely. There has been a remarkable shift in patient mindset. People today are far more informed and proactive about their health. Earlier, many patients looked for quick fixes. Today, they want to understand the cause of their concerns and seek long-term solutions. Patients are now asking deeper questions about prevention, sustainability, and natural healing. Holistic wellness has moved from being a niche concept to becoming an essential part of modern healthcare.

Q. There are many myths surrounding skin procedures. What is the reality?
A: There are several misconceptions that often create unnecessary fear. Many people believe lasers thin the skin or cause long-term damage. Others worry that chemical peels are unsafe or that aesthetic treatments make people look artificial.

In reality, when performed correctly by trained professionals, lasers stimulate collagen production and improve skin quality. Chemical peels promote healthy skin renewal and clarity. Modern aesthetic treatments are designed to enhance natural beauty in subtle and balanced ways.

Patient education plays a major role in our practice, and we always ensure individuals feel informed and confident before undergoing any treatment.

Q. How does modern lifestyle impact skin and hair health?
A: Modern lifestyle is one of the biggest contributors to skin and hair concerns. Poor nutrition often leads to acne and dull skin. Chronic stress contributes to hair fall and premature ageing. Lack of sleep results in pigmentation and dark circles. Sedentary habits affect circulation, which impacts skin vitality. This is why we never rely on treatments alone. Lifestyle correction is always a core component of our approach.

Q. Why is personalized nutrition so important in wellness and aesthetics?
A: Nutrition forms the foundation of healing. A generic diet cannot address individual needs because every body is unique. Using Quantum Analysis, we assess vitamin and mineral deficiencies, gut health status, and metabolic efficiency. Based on this data, we design targeted nutrition plans that significantly improve outcomes in skin, hair, and weight treatments. Personalized nutrition accelerates results and helps maintain them long term.

Q. What is your approach to weight management?
A: My approach is always practical, sustainable, and science-based. I strongly discourage crash dieting or extreme restrictions. Instead, we focus on balanced nutrition, improved gut health, consistent meal timing, and proper sleep and stress management. Healthy weight loss is gradual and maintainable. The goal is not just to lose weight but to improve overall metabolic health.

Q. What role do supplements play in your treatment plans?
A: Supplements can be beneficial, but only when prescribed correctly. We do not promote random supplementation. Our recommendations are based on detailed analysis and clinical need. The goal of supplements is to bridge deficiencies, not replace food. Whole nutrition always remains the priority.

Q. How has technology transformed your field?
A: Technology has revolutionized the wellness and aesthetic industry. Advanced laser systems, skin analysis devices, and Quantum Analysis diagnostics allow us to detect issues early, personalize treatments, and deliver precise results. However, technology alone is not enough. It must be combined with clinical expertise and a holistic understanding of health.

Q. What are the most common lifestyle injuries you see today?
A: We frequently see neck and back pain related to screen usage, postural imbalances, joint stiffness, and muscle fatigue caused by sedentary routines. Our approach focuses on rehabilitation, posture correction, and prevention rather than temporary pain relief.

Q. Could you share your philosophy on success and the recognition you’ve received?
A: I strongly believe that success comes when you transform lives, not just appearances. Every patient who regains confidence, improves their health, or feels empowered about their well-being becomes part of our journey.

I feel deeply honored to have received several awards and recognitions, including the Nari Ratna Award, Global Luminary Award 2025, Doctor of Beauty, Body & Gut Harmony title, Femina Her Award, Best Skin Expert in Jaipur at the Forever Business Awards, World Achievers Award, and the Radiant She Award. These recognitions inspire and motivate me to continue striving for excellence and delivering meaningful, life-changing care to every patient who walks through our doors.

Q. What is your vision for the future of Grace Lifestyle Clinic?
A: My vision is to develop Grace Lifestyle Clinic into a centre of excellence for integrated wellness where root-cause diagnosis becomes standard practice and preventive healthcare takes priority. I also aim to expand awareness about gut health, collagen health, and internal healing as the true foundation of aesthetics.

Q. What message would you like to share with young medical aspirants?
A: This field offers immense opportunities but demands continuous learning and adaptability. Go beyond textbook knowledge and understand the connection between lifestyle, nutrition, and disease. Embrace new technologies, remain patient-focused, and remember that true success lies in combining science, skill, and empathy.
