कोयला मंत्रालय (Ministry of Coal) ने घोषणा की है कि वह बुधवार को 14th round of commercial coal mine auctions शुरू करने जा रहा है। इस राउंड में पूरी तरह से explored और आंशिक रूप से explored coal blocks को बोली लगाने के लिए पेश किया जाएगा — जिसमें experienced miners, new entrants और technology-driven कंपनियाँ भाग ले सकेंगी।
🔬 First-Time Provision for Underground Coal Gasification (UCG)
इस बार auction framework में पहली बार Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) की provision शामिल की गई है।
UCG एक strategic initiative है, जिससे देश के deep-seated coal reserves को use किया जा सकेगा — जो conventional mining methods से निकालना संभव नहीं है।
यह कदम imported natural gas और crude oil पर निर्भरता घटाने, साथ ही नई निवेश संभावनाओं, तकनीकी प्रगति और रोजगार सृजन को बढ़ावा देने की दिशा में अहम माना जा रहा है।

CLAMP Portal एक unified digital platform है जो land acquisition, compensation, rehabilitation और resettlement (R&R) से जुड़े processes को digitize और streamline करेगा।
यह portal land records का एक centralised repository बनेगा और real-time data integration और monitoring की सुविधा देगा।
इससे transparency, accountability और inter-agency coordination बढ़ेगी, जबकि procedural delays और data duplication घटेगी।
⚙️ Koyla Shakti Dashboard: The Digital Backbone of Coal Sector
Koyla Shakti Dashboard एक innovative digital platform है जो coal value chain को mine से market तक integrate करता है।
इससे coal companies, railways, ports और end users के बीच real-time coordination संभव होगा।
यह एक decision-support system की तरह काम करेगा — logistics को optimise करेगा, supply chain management को मजबूत बनाएगा और data-driven governance को बढ़ावा देगा।
मंत्रालय के अनुसार, यह कदम Aatmanirbhar Bharat के सिद्धांतों के अनुरूप coal sector का digital backbone बनेगा।

2020 में शुरू हुए commercial coal mine auction process के बाद से इस पहल में established और new दोनों तरह के industry players की मजबूत भागीदारी देखने को मिली है।
इससे domestic coal production बढ़ा है और देश की energy security को मज़बूती मिली है।
