Bandung, Indonesia – 5 फरवरी 2026: Hinduja Group की प्रमुख भारतीय कंपनी और दुनिया की अग्रणी commercial एवं defense vehicle निर्माता कंपनियों में से एक Ashok Leyland ने आज Indonesia की प्रमुख सरकारी defense और industrial equipment निर्माता कंपनी PT Pindad के साथ एक महत्वपूर्ण Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए। यह समझौता Bandung स्थित PT Pindad के मुख्यालय में किया गया। यह समझौता sustainable mobility और advanced defense technologies के क्षेत्र में दोनों देशों के बीच द्विपक्षीय सहयोग को मज़बूत करने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है।
इस MoU के तहत Indonesia की बढ़ती परिवहन ज़रूरतों और national security requirements को ध्यान में रखते हुए electric buses (EVs) और defense vehicles के संयुक्त development और manufacturing के लिए strategic collaboration किया जाएगा। इस साझेदारी में Ashok Leyland की commercial electric vehicle platforms और defense mobility solutions में वैश्विक विशेषज्ञता को, PT Pindad की मजबूत engineering capabilities, local manufacturing strength और Indonesia के defense sector में लंबे अनुभव के साथ जोड़ा जाएगा।
इस समझौते को PT Pindad के Chief Executive Officer Professor Sigit P. Santosa, Ashok Leyland के President – International Operations, Defense, LCV and PSB, Amandeep Singh, और Hinduja Auto के Board Advisor Lord Tarik की उपस्थिति में औपचारिक रूप दिया गया।
Indonesia तेज़ी से sustainable transportation और modern defense capabilities की दिशा में आगे बढ़ रहा है। यह MoU energy-efficient mobility, electric vehicles को अपनाने और देश में ही निर्मित defense platforms को बढ़ावा देने की Indonesia सरकार की नीति के अनुरूप है।
MoU के तहत मुख्य फोकस regional electric buses और defense vehicles के संयुक्त development में सहयोग करना है।
