Global और domestic market में gold और silver prices ने शुक्रवार को नया record बनाया। Rising geopolitical tensions और future US rate cuts की expectations के चलते investors का safe haven demand बढ़ा, जिससे bullion prices में तेज उछाल देखने को मिला।
MCX gold February futures 0.72 per cent की तेजी के साथ Rs 1,39,091 प्रति 10 gram के record level पर पहुंच गया। वहीं MCX silver March futures 3.56 per cent चढ़कर Rs 2,31,759 प्रति kg पर trade करता दिखा। Session के दौरान silver futures ने intraday high Rs 2,32,741 प्रति kg भी touch किया। Market experts के अनुसार US और Venezuela के बीच बढ़ता tension gold prices को ऊपर ले जाने वाला main factor बना हुआ है। International market में भी bullion में मजबूती देखने को मिली, जहां spot gold 0.5 per cent बढ़कर $4,501.44 प्रति ounce पर पहुंच गया, जबकि पहले session में यह $4,530.60 के level को touch कर चुका था।
Traders year 2026 में Federal Reserve द्वारा दो quarter-point rate cuts को price-in कर रहे हैं। Inflation के cool होने और labour market conditions के soften होने के संकेत के साथ geopolitical tensions से जुड़ा safe haven demand defensive buying को support दे रहा है। Geopolitical risk में हाल के दिनों में तेजी आई है, जिसमें US द्वारा Venezuelan crude पर blockade, Russia-Ukraine conflict और Nigeria में ISIS के खिलाफ US military strike शामिल हैं। US Coast Guard ने इस महीने sanctions के तहत एक super tanker को seize किया, जो Venezuelan oil ले जा रहा था, जबकि weekend में दो अन्य Venezuela-linked ships को intercept करने की कोशिश की गई, जिससे tensions और बढ़ गईं।
Mehta Equities Ltd के VP Commodities Rahul Kalantri ने कहा कि central-bank buying और ETF inflows bullion market के लिए strong support बने हुए हैं। Gold के लिए Rs 1,36,550–1,35,710 का support zone है, जबकि Rs 1,38,850–Rs 1,39,670 resistance के रूप में काम कर सकता है। Silver में Rs 2,22,150–Rs 2,20,780 support और Rs 2,25,810–Rs 2,26,970 resistance levels बताए गए हैं। Analysts का मानना है कि aggressive central bank buying, US Fed rate cuts की उम्मीद, US tariffs के impact को लेकर concerns, geopolitical tensions और gold-silver ETFs में robust inflows ने इस साल bullion prices को नई ऊंचाई तक पहुंचाया है।
