PM Modi launches global aircraft MRO hub in India as SAESI goes live.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi ने virtually Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) facility, Hyderabad में inaugurate किया।

Prime Minister ने event में कहा, “This facility will strengthen India’s position as a global MRO hub,” और यह India की aviation sector में self-reliance को बढ़ाने की दिशा में बड़ा कदम है। ✅

SAESI facility dedicated है LEAP engines के लिए, जो Airbus A320neo और Boeing 737 MAX जैसे popular aircraft को power करते हैं.

📐 Facility Details | सुविधा की विशेषताएँ

• First time है कि कोई global aircraft engine manufacturer ने India में MRO facility स्थापित की है.

• 45,000 square metre में GMR Aerospace and Industrial Park-SEZ में spread, initial investment लगभग Rs 1,300 crore.

• Fully operational होने पर (by 2035) yearly 300 LEAP engines service कर सकेगी और 1,000+ skilled Indian engineers और technicians को रोजगार देगी. 💼

Unit में world-class maintenance और repair services देने के लिए advanced technology installed है.
Officials के अनुसार, इससे India की foreign facilities पर निर्भरता कम होगी, foreign exchange outflows घटेंगे और domestic aviation supply chain मजबूत होगी.
