NSE 8 दिसंबर से 15-Min Pre-Open F&O Session शुरू करेगा — Focus on Price Discovery

National Stock Exchange (NSE) ने घोषणा की है कि वह 8 दिसंबर से equity futures और options में 15-minute pre-open session शुरू करने जा रहा है।
इस कदम का उद्देश्य है — price discovery को बेहतर बनाना, gap movements में transparency लाना, और volatility को manage करना।

🕘 Pre-Open Session Details

यह 15-minute call auction window होगी —
⏰ 9:00 am से 9:15 am तक

इस दौरान होगा:

• Order entry, modification और cancellation: 9:00 से 9:07–9:08 am (random closure)
• Price discovery और trade matching: 9:07/9:08 से 9:12 am तक
• 3-minute buffer: 9:12 से 9:15 am तक, ताकि market continuous trading mode में transition कर सके।

यह नया सिस्टम equity cash market के pre-open call auction के साथ derivative market को align करेगा।

🧩 Rollout & Coverage

• Mock trading: 6 दिसंबर को आयोजित की जाएगी, ताकि brokers और participants system को test कर सकें।
• शुरुआत में यह pre-open session सिर्फ current-month futures (single stocks और indices) के लिए लागू होगी।
• बाद में इसे next-month contracts पर भी लागू किया जाएगा, expiry से पहले के last 5 trading days में।

⚙️ What’s Excluded

❌ Options, spreads और corporate-action ex-dates इस framework में शामिल नहीं होंगे।

💡 Key Features for Traders

• Real-time indicative opening price और order imbalance data उपलब्ध रहेगा।
• Limit और market orders की अनुमति होगी।
• Stop-loss और IOC (Immediate or Cancel) orders की अनुमति नहीं होगी।
• Unmatched limit orders normal market में original time-stamp के साथ transfer होंगे।
• Unmatched market orders को limit orders में convert किया जाएगा, discovered opening price पर।
