Business Remedies | Shruti Kothari | June 22,2025 | The Department of Archaeology and Museums, Rajasthan, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology, organised a special session on Summer Solstice as part of the Astro Night Sky Tourism initiative. The event was held at Jantar Mantar, Jaipur, on June 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
During the program, tourists were provided detailed insights about the instruments located at Jantar Mantar by subject experts. Scientific perspectives on these instruments were highlighted. Experts Preeti Vaishnav, Govind Dadhich, and Rahul Sharma delivered presentations on the Summer Solstice, explaining the phenomena using the instruments at Jantar Mantar. The event drew significant attention from students, local visitors, and foreign tourists alike. The program was conducted under the guidance of Jantar Mantar Superintendent Mrs. Pratibha Yadav and Mr. Kailash Mishra, Deputy Director, Regional Science Centre and Science Park, Jaipur.
