Indian Railways Crosses 1 Billion Ton Freight Loading | 1020 MT by 19 November

Indian Railways ने चालू वित्त वर्ष में माल ढुलाई (freight loading) के क्षेत्र में एक बड़ा मील का पत्थर हासिल किया है। Railway Ministry के अनुसार, 19 नवंबर 2025 तक कुल freight loading 1 billion ton का आंकड़ा पार करते हुए 1020 million ton तक पहुंच गया है। यह उपलब्धि देश की economic growth और logistics efficiency में Railways की बढ़ती भूमिका को दर्शाती है।

Coal Tops the Chart with 505 MT

Official data के मुताबिक:

• Coal – 505 MT (largest contributor)

• Iron Ore – 115 MT

• Cement – 92 MT

• Container Traffic – 59 MT

• Pig Iron & Finished Steel – 47 MT

• Fertilizer – 42 MT

• Mineral Oil – 32 MT

• Foodgrains – 30 MT

• Raw Material for Steel Plants – 20 MT

• Other Goods – 74 MT

ये आंकड़े दिखाते हैं कि heavy industries और infrastructure projects के लिए Indian Railways logistics backbone की तरह काम कर रहा है।

Daily Loading Reaches 4.4 MT

Railways का daily loading rate 4.4 MT रहा, जो पिछले साल के 4.2 MT से अधिक है। यह operational efficiency में improvement और freight demand में steady growth को reflect करता है।

April–October Freight Sees Strong Growth

Ministry के अनुसार:

• April–October 2025 में freight loading 935.1 MT

• पिछले वर्ष इसी अवधि में 906.9 MT

Year-on-year comparison clear growth को highlight करता है, जो India’s industrial expansion और supply chain stability की ओर इशारा करता है।

Shift to Rail Boosts Green Logistics

Official statement में कहा गया है कि bulk goods को सड़क की बजाय रेल से शिफ्ट करने के कई फायदे हैं:
