रणनीतिक साझेदारी की ओर बढ़े संबंध
New Delhi: India और Bhutan के द्विपक्षीय संबंध अब पारंपरिक donor-recipient मॉडल से आगे बढ़कर एक मजबूत और भविष्य केंद्रित strategic partnership का रूप ले रहे हैं। India Narrative की एक Report के अनुसार बीते एक वर्ष में दोनों देशों के बीच economic planning, energy transition, regional connectivity और knowledge sharing के क्षेत्रों में सहयोग तेजी से बढ़ा है।
13th Five-Year Plan में बड़ा सहयोग
पांचवीं India-Bhutan Development Cooperation Talks में Bhutan के 13th Five-Year Plan 2024-29 के लिए India की INR 10,000 crore की सहायता प्रतिबद्धता की समीक्षा की गई। इसमें Nu 6,860 crore की राशि 82 Project Tied Assistance योजनाओं के लिए तय की गई है। इन योजनाओं में healthcare, urban infrastructure और disaster resilience जैसे क्षेत्रों को प्राथमिकता दी गई है।
Hydropower में नई साझेदारी
Energy cooperation के तहत JSW Energy और Bhutan की Druk Green Power Corporation ने 920 MW Punatsangchhu-III Hydroelectric Project के विकास के लिए joint venture बनाया है। इसमें DGPC की 51 प्रतिशत और JSW Energy की 49 प्रतिशत हिस्सेदारी होगी। Renewable Energy projects के लिए Rs 4,000 crore की Umbrella Line of Credit भी operationalise की गई है।
Trade और Connectivity को मिलेगा बढ़ावा
Bhutan के Samrang और Assam के Udalguri district के बीच नया land-customs route agricultural produce, industrial materials और अन्य commodities की आवाजाही को आसान बनाएगा। इससे Bhutan के southern districts और India के Northeast के बीच economic integration मजबूत होने की उम्मीद है।
Digital और Rail Connectivity पर फोकस
Guwahati में India Post और Bhutan Post के बीच International Postal Cooperation initiative के जरिए PosTransfer system को UPI से जोड़ा गया है। इसके साथ ही India border logistics hubs तक Rail links विकसित कर Bhutanese cargo की last-mile connectivity बेहतर करने की दिशा में भी काम कर रहा है।
