BRICS बैठक के दौरान समझौता
India और Brazil ने telecommunications और Information and Communications Technologies (ICTs) के क्षेत्र में आपसी सहयोग को और मजबूत करने के लिए Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं। यह समझौता Pune में आयोजित 12th BRICS Communications Ministers Meeting के दौरान हुआ। Department of Telecommunications के अनुसार, इससे दोनों देशों के बीच digital और telecom cooperation को नई गति मिलेगी।
Scindia और Frederico ने किए हस्ताक्षर
इस MoU पर Union Minister of Communications Jyotiraditya M. Scindia और Brazil के Minister of Communications Frederico de Siqueira Filho ने हस्ताक्षर किए। Department of Telecommunications ने Social Media platform X पर जानकारी देते हुए कहा कि समझौता digital innovation को बढ़ावा देने, digital infrastructure को मजबूत करने और emerging technologies में सहयोग बढ़ाने में मदद करेगा।
Cybersecurity से connectivity तक रहेगा फोकस
Jyotiraditya M. Scindia ने कहा कि India-Brazil partnership के तहत universal connectivity, cybersecurity, digital public infrastructure, emerging technologies, capacity building और best practices के आदान-प्रदान पर विशेष जोर दिया जाएगा। उन्होंने इसे सुरक्षित और समावेशी digital future की दिशा में महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया।
BRICS देशों की व्यापक भागीदारी
BRICS ICT Track के इस कार्यक्रम में सदस्य देशों के government officials, industry leaders, academia, startups और research institutions ने भाग लिया। पहला thematic panel cybersecurity, Trustworthy ICTs और Child Online Protection पर केंद्रित रहा, जिसमें digital transformation के दौरान सुरक्षा और भरोसे से जुड़े मुद्दों पर चर्चा हुई।
Sustainable Digital Ecosystem पर चर्चा
दूसरे thematic session में Sustainable and Resilient Digital and ICT Ecosystems पर चर्चा की गई। इसमें affordable connectivity, energy-efficient infrastructure, climate-resilient systems और satellite तथा non-terrestrial technologies की भूमिका पर जोर दिया गया। BRICS Ministers ने digital development के साथ privacy, public interest और vulnerable users की सुरक्षा के लिए balanced approach की आवश्यकता दोहराई।
