Ministry of Textiles का एक high-level delegation 17–21 November के दौरान Georgia में multi-sectoral engagements पूरा कर लौटा।
Official statement के अनुसार, इस यात्रा का उद्देश्य sericulture research, textiles और apparel trade में सहयोग को मजबूत करना था।
🐛 Leadership in Sericulture Highlighted
सेरिकल्चर में भारत की नेतृत्व भूमिका पर जोर
Delegation का नेतृत्व P. Sivakumar, Member Secretary (CSB) और Secretary General (ISC) ने किया।
उन्होंने 11th BACSA International Conference – CULTUSERI 2025 में Opening Address दिया, जहाँ उन्होंने India’s traditional silk knowledge और उसकी creative व cultural industries में relevance पर प्रकाश डाला।
उन्होंने एक technical paper भी प्रस्तुत किया जिसका शीर्षक था — “The Chronicles of Wild Silk.”
🧣 Showcase of India’s 5-in-1 Silk Stole
भारत का 5-in-1 सिल्क स्टोल प्रदर्शित
इस यात्रा में CSB ने अपना innovative “5-in-1 Silk Stole” भी प्रदर्शित किया, जिसमें Mulberry, Oak Tasar, Tropical Tasar, Muga और Eri silk एक साथ शामिल हैं।
इसे India’s rich silk heritage का अनोखा प्रतीक बताया गया तथा strong market potential वाला premium product माना गया।
🏛️ Engagement with Georgian Institutions
जॉर्जिया की प्रमुख संस्थाओं से सहभागिता
Delegation ने universities, sericulture laboratories, research centres, textile companies, apparel manufacturers, carpet traders और Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) जैसे संस्थानों से मुलाकात की।
इन interactions में bilateral textile trade को बढ़ाने, industry collaborations को प्रोत्साहित करने और joint sericulture research के अवसरों पर जोर दिया गया।
🧶 Expanding Textile & Silk Trade Opportunities
टेक्सटाइल और सिल्क व्यापार के नए अवसर
Government of Georgia के senior officials के साथ हुई बैठकों में new areas of cooperation, market access में सुधार, और textiles, apparel, carpets तथा value-added silk products में व्यापार बढ़ाने पर चर्चा हुई।
Carpets और high-value textiles में trade diversification के नए रास्ते खुले, जिसमें दोनों देशों ने strong interest दिखाया।

दीर्घकालिक साझेदारी और वैश्विक सेरिकल्चर नेतृत्व
Visit के दौरान institutional partnerships और technical collaboration के लिए clear pathways स्थापित हुए, जिससे knowledge exchange और capacity building को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।
India की BACSA platform में सक्रिय भागीदारी ने global sustainable sericulture और textile development में उसकी नेतृत्व भूमिका को और मजबूत किया।
