आज Stock market holiday के चलते Indian equity market में कोई trading नहीं होगी। Christmas festival के अवसर पर Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) और National Stock Exchange (NSE) दोनों बंद रहेंगे। इस holiday की वजह से equity, derivatives और currency segments में कोई transaction नहीं होगा, जिससे market participants को आज के दिन trading से दूर रहना पड़ेगा।
24 December को market में दिखी limited activity
24 December को Indian equity indices ने volatile session के बाद marginal losses के साथ closing दी। Trading session के दौरान volumes muted रहे, क्योंकि Christmas holiday से पहले investors ने cautious strategy अपनाई। Market में early gains देखने को मिले, लेकिन later hours में selling pressure बढ़ने से indices slight decline के साथ बंद हुए। Christmas holiday से पहले domestic और global cues की कमी के चलते investors ने fresh positions लेने से परहेज़ किया। Short-term traders ने profit booking की, जबकि long-term investors ने wait-and-watch stance बनाए रखा। इसी वजह से market breadth कमजोर रही और overall sentiment neutral से slightly negative रहा।

Asian और European markets से strong signals न मिलने के कारण Indian market में enthusiasm सीमित रहा। US market में भी holiday mood के चलते activity subdued रही, जिसका सीधा असर Indian equity indices पर पड़ा। Experts का मानना है कि holiday के बाद market में volumes फिर से improve हो सकते हैं। Market participants की नजर अब upcoming trading sessions पर टिकी हुई है, जहां global cues, crude oil prices और foreign institutional investors की activity से direction तय हो सकती है। Analysts के अनुसार, holiday के बाद volatility बढ़ सकती है और stock-specific action देखने को मिल सकता है।
