New Delhi, 23 July 2025: PayPal ने 23 जुलाई को “PayPal World” नाम का एक नया platform लॉन्च किया है। ये भारत के UPI (जैसे PhonePe, Google Pay) को दुनिया के बड़े digital wallets जैसे Venmo, Tenpay Global, और Mercado Pago के साथ connect करता है। इससे लगभग 2 billion लोग globally आसानी से payments और money transfer कर सकेंगे।PayPal World क्या है?PayPal World एक cloud-based platform है जो different countries के digital wallets को एक साथ लाता है। इसमें strong security, open APIs, और good global uptime है। ये cross-border payments को simple और fast बनाता है।Indians के लिए कैसे useful है?Online shopping: मान लो आप America से online कुछ खरीद रहे हैं। PayPal में UPI का button दिखेगा, जिससे आप PhonePe या Google Pay से rupees में instantly pay कर सकते हैं। Credit card की जरूरत नहीं।
Travel में payment: अगर आप China में हैं, तो वहां के Weixin Pay QR को scan करके PayPal app से pay कर सकते हैं।
Money transfer: Venmo users के साथ भी money send या receive करना उतना आसान होगा जितना एक text message भेजना।
PayPal और Venmo की partnershipPayPal World के जरिए PayPal और Venmo पहली बार fully connected होंगे। इसका मतलब, दोनों platform के users दुनिया के किसी भी corner से एक-दूसरे को money भेज सकेंगे। 2026 से Venmo users PayPal accept करने वाले global merchants से shopping कर सकेंगे।Future plans और featuresPayPal World एक tech-neutral platform है, जो future-ready है। इसमें जल्दी ही AI-powered shopping, stablecoin payments, और dynamic payment buttons जैसे features आएंगे। Company का कहना है कि अगले कुछ months में और भी wallets इस platform से जुड़ेंगे।Merchants के लिए फायदाPayPal World से merchants को 2 billion consumers तक reach मिलेगी बिना extra technical work के। India, Latin America, और China जैसे markets में businesses को new customers मिलेंगे।UPI का global expansionIndia में UPI ने digital payments में revolution ला दिया है। June 2025 में UPI transactions $238 billion से ज्यादा थे। लेकिन अब तक UPI का international use limited था। PayPal World इस gap को fill करता है, जिससे Indian users globally UPI का use बिना किसी hassle के कर सकेंगे।
