India में online gaming का craze अब किसी से छुपा नहीं है। Mobile और Internet की easy availability ने इसे युवाओं के बीच बेहद popular बना दिया है। छोटे शहर और villages तक online gaming ने अपनी पहुँच बना ली है।
लेकिन इसके साथ कई challenges भी सामने आए हैं – जैसे नाबालिगों का पैसे लगाकर खेलना, परिवार की financial स्थिति पर दबाव, और कुछ cases में excessive gaming addiction के कारण पढ़ाई और health पर negative असर।
इन्हीं समस्याओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए, Government of India ने 1 अक्टूबर 2025 से नया online gaming law लागू करने का निर्णय लिया है।
नए नियमों के highlights:

Online gaming companies के लिए registration अनिवार्य होगा।

Fraud, illegal transactions और gambling games पर strict monitoring।

Companies को यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि minors की participation limited रहे।

Players की personal data और privacy सुरक्षित रहे।
ध्यान देने योग्य बात यह है कि online gaming अब सिर्फ entertainment नहीं बल्कि बड़ा उद्योग बन चुका है। Millions of youth को रोजगार मिला है और foreign investors भी India को इस sector में promising मान रहे हैं।
इसलिए जरूरी है कि नया law balanced हो – ना ज्यादा strict कि industry growth रुके और ना बहुत loose कि problems बनी रहें। Government को industry experts और players के साथ dialogue बनाए रखना चाहिए। साथ ही, awareness campaigns चलाकर लोगों को responsible gaming के बारे में बताया जाए।
Parents और teachers की role भी critical है ताकि बच्चे safe और balanced तरीके से gaming का आनंद ले सकें।

1 अक्टूबर 2025 से लागू होने वाला online gaming law youth को safety की guarantee देगा और industry को clear direction। अगर इसे सही तरीके से implement किया गया, तो यह न केवल problems को control करेगा बल्कि India को global online gaming industry में strong presence भी दिलाएगा।
