Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters से 1.80 lakh jobs सृजित होने का अनुमान

New Delhi में Parliament को जानकारी देते हुए Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT Jitin Prasada ने कहा कि Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) scheme के तहत देश में electronics manufacturing infrastructure को मजबूत किया जा रहा है। यह clusters 10 states में स्थित हैं और इनमें Rs 1,46,846 crore का projected investment अनुमानित है, जिससे करीब 1.80 lakh jobs का creation होने की संभावना है। Minister ने Lok Sabha में लिखित उत्तर में बताया कि अभी तक 11 EMC projects और 2 CFC (Common Facility Centre) projects को approval मिल चुका है। ये projects कुल 4,399.68 acres area को cover करते हैं और इनकी कुल project cost Rs 5,226.49 crore है। इसमें Central financial assistance के रूप में Rs 2,492.74 crore शामिल है।

EMC 2.0 scheme के अंतर्गत clusters के saleable या leasable area का कम से कम 10 प्रतिशत हिस्सा Ready Built Factory (RBF) sheds के लिए provision किया गया है। Approved EMC 2.0 parks में RBF sheds अभी construction के विभिन्न stages में हैं, जिससे manufacturers को जल्दी operations शुरू करने में सुविधा मिल रही है। Minister ने आगे बताया कि approved EMCs में 123 land allottees यानी manufacturers से Rs 1,13,000 crore का investment commitment प्राप्त हो चुका है। इनमें से 9 units ने production शुरू कर दिया है और अब तक Rs 12,569.69 crore का actual investment ground किया गया है, जिससे 13,680 jobs generate हुई हैं।

इसके अलावा EMC 2.0 Scheme का independent impact assessment National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises द्वारा Ministry of MSME के अंतर्गत conduct किया गया। Assessment में electronics manufacturing infrastructure का accelerated development, supply-chain responsiveness में improvement, RBF और Plug-and-Play facilities की availability, cost-efficient logistics और direct तथा indirect employment generation को प्रमुख benefits के रूप में highlight किया गया है। साथ ही cluster ecosystem के भीतर skill development में भी significant वृद्धि देखी गई है।

Government ने Modified Electronics Manufacturing Clusters (EMC 2.0) Scheme को April 2020 में notify किया था। इस scheme का मुख्य उद्देश्य common facilities के साथ dedicated clusters को funding देकर world-class electronics manufacturing infrastructure का creation करना है।
