भारत और US के बीच energy cooperation को लेकर discussions चल रहे हैं। Central government ने बताया कि अमेरिकी प्रशासन ने India के साथ energy ties मजबूत करने में रुचि दिखाई है।

MEA ने कहा:

“हमने कई सालों से अपनी energy procurement को expand करने की कोशिश की है। पिछले दशक में steady progress हुई है। वर्तमान Administration ने India के साथ energy cooperation deepen करने में interest दिखाया है। Discussions ongoing हैं।”

• India US से $12–13 billion का crude oil और natural gas import कर सकता है bina refinery changes के

• India US से renewable energy technologies भी source कर सकता है, जो climate goals में मदद करेगा

• Chief Negotiator Rajesh Agrawal US के लिए रवाना, negotiations already चल रहे हैं
