This entry-level model, known as the “Light RWD,” comes equipped with a 63 kWh battery pack, offering a Kia-estimated range of up to 237 miles (approximately 381 kilometers) on a single charge.
Key features
Battery and range: The 63 kWh battery provides an estimated range of 237 miles, making it suitable for daily commutes and short trips.
Performance: Powered by a single electric motor, the Light RWD delivers a balanced performance tailored for efficiency and urban driving.
Charging capability: The EV6 supports ultra-fast DC charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 18 minutes using a 350 kW charger.
Safety and driver assistance: Standard features include Auto Emergency Braking with Pedestrian, Cyclist, and Junction Turning Detection, as well as Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist.
Interior and technology: The cabin boasts a dual 12.3-inch panoramic curved display, providing a seamless interface for both the instrument cluster and infotainment system.
The 2025 Kia EV6 Light RWD is currently available in select markets. As of now, this base variant has not been introduced in the Indian market, where the EV6 continues to be offered in the fully-loaded GT-Line AWD trim, priced at Rs. 65.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
By introducing the Light RWD variant, Kia aims to provide a more affordable entry point into the EV6 lineup, catering to consumers seeking a practical and efficient electric vehicle without compromising on essential features and safety.
