Indian SMEs की अहम भूमिका
New Delhi में सामने आई एक रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, Qatar में काम कर रही Indian small and medium-sized enterprises यानी SMEs दोनों देशों के आर्थिक संबंधों को मजबूत करने में अहम भूमिका निभा सकती हैं। Embassy of India में Charge d’Affaires और Deputy Chief of Mission Sandeep Kumar ने कहा कि Indian SMEs Qatar के करीब $10 Billion Investment Pledge को भारत में ठोस और Growth-Oriented Projects में बदलने का प्रभावी माध्यम बन सकती हैं।
20,000 से अधिक Indian कंपनियां सक्रिय
Al Gharrafa में आयोजित India Utsav 2026 के दौरान Sandeep Kumar ने बताया कि Qatar में 20,000 से अधिक Indian-owned या Indian-managed कंपनियां काम कर रही हैं। उन्होंने इन्हें दोनों देशों के बीच “Living Bridges” बताते हुए कहा कि ये कंपनियां बड़े आर्थिक लक्ष्यों को जमीनी Business Activity में बदल सकती हैं।
इन Sectors में निवेश की संभावना
Kumar के अनुसार Qatar से आने वाले निवेश को भारत की Long-Term Growth Strategy से जुड़े क्षेत्रों में लगाया जाना चाहिए। इनमें Advanced Manufacturing, Semiconductors, Logistics, Food Security और Infrastructure जैसे Sectors प्रमुख हैं। यह निवेश भारत के Viksit Bharat 2047 Vision को भी गति दे सकता है।
Digital Economy में सहयोग के अवसर
उन्होंने भारत की युवा आबादी और अर्थव्यवस्था में महिलाओं की बढ़ती भागीदारी को आर्थिक मजबूती का महत्वपूर्ण आधार बताया। साथ ही कहा कि भारत का Digital Infrastructure वैश्विक Digital Transactions में बड़ी हिस्सेदारी रखता है। Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain और Emerging Technologies में India-Qatar Partnership की व्यापक संभावनाएं हैं।
$14 Billion का Bilateral Trade
India और Qatar के बीच Bilateral Trade करीब $14 Billion है, जिसमें Qatari Energy Exports की बड़ी हिस्सेदारी है। भारत का Qatar को Export लगभग $1.7 Billion है, जिसमें Auto Components, Foodstuffs और Jewellery शामिल हैं। दोनों देशों ने 2030 तक Energy Trade Volume दोगुना करने पर भी सहमति जताई है।
