Dholera SIR – India’s First Semicon City
Dholera Industrial City अब strategic international partnerships और advanced manufacturing projects के लिए एक hot spot बन चुकी है. खासकर semiconductors, electronics और smart industrial ecosystems के लिए यह जगह global interest का center बन गई है.
Strong Japanese Interest in Dholera
Ministry के मुताबिक, Japanese companies लगातार NICDC industrial cities में अपनी मौजूदगी बढ़ा रही हैं. हाल ही में Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) के Governor Nobumitsu Hayashi ने Dholera SIR का दौरा किया ताकि India की पहली Semicon City की progress को review किया जा सके.
Hayashi ने Dholera की world-class planning, scalable utilities और future-ready infrastructure की सराहना की और India के semiconductor growth story पर भरोसा जताया. उन्होंने Tata Electronics के fast progress को भी highlight किया.
Tata Electronics Semiconductor Fabrication Facility
Dholera SIR में Tata Electronics और Taiwan की PSMC मिलकर एक 163-acre semiconductor fabrication plant तैयार कर रहे हैं—investment approx ₹91,000 crore.

✔ Capacity: 50,000 wafers per month
✔ Technology nodes: 110 nm to 28 nm
✔ Jobs: 20,000+ high-skilled jobs
इस mega project से India–Japan tech collaboration को और boost मिलने की उम्मीद है और India global semiconductor value chains में अपनी मजबूत positioning बना रहा है.
Rising Global Attention on Dholera
पिछले एक साल में JBIC, JETRO, JICA और कई leading Japanese corporations तथा global investors की delegations ने Dholera का दौरा किया है. हाल ही में Japan के Ambassador Ono Keiichi एक 70-member business delegation के साथ Dholera पहुंचे.
