India’s man-made fibre (MMF) exports recorded 6.5% growth in 2024–25, जबकि technical textiles श्रेणी ने 15% से अधिक वृद्धि दर्ज की, जिससे यह संकेत मिलता है कि भारत इस sunrise sector में तेजी से प्रतिस्पर्धी बन रहा है।
Union Minister of State for Textiles & External Affairs Pabitra Margherita के अनुसार यह वृद्धि भारत की वैश्विक क्षमता को मजबूत करती है।

🎯 Vision 2030 – टेक्सटाइल सेक्टर का बड़ा लक्ष्य

The minister stated that India is moving confidently toward the goals of $100 billion textile exports and a $350 billion domestic textile market by 2030, जो Viksit Bharat 2047 की दृष्टि के अनुरूप है।
उन्होंने कहा कि बढ़ती global demand भारत को international market में बड़ा हिस्सा दिलाने का अवसर प्रदान कर रही है।

Margherita ने कहा कि India’s high-quality products are enhancing the country’s image as a trusted global partner, जबकि international buyers अब high-performance, functional और sustainable materials की ओर तेजी से आगे बढ़ रहे हैं।
He emphasized that India is responding to this shift with strength and confidence, positioning itself as a future-ready textile leader.

🏆 MATEXIL Awards – उत्कृष्ट निर्यातकों को सम्मान

The minister addressed the MATEXIL Export Award Function for 2023–24 and 2024–25 in Mumbai, जहां करीब 80 उत्कृष्ट निर्यातकों को technical textiles क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान के लिए सम्मानित किया गया।
उन्होंने कहा कि यह उपलब्धियां केवल विजेताओं तक सीमित नहीं हैं – बल्कि हर worker, engineer, designer, entrepreneur और exporter इस उद्योग को आगे बढ़ाता है।

🌱 Sustainability Shift – वैश्विक बदलाव में भारत की भूमिका

MMF currently holds 70–75% of the global fibre market, which reflects a major shift in consumer and industrial preferences.
भारत भी इस परिवर्तन के अनुरूप sustainable और advanced materials के उत्पादन में अपनी क्षमता को तेजी से बढ़ा रहा है।

🏭 Policy Push – नीतियों का मजबूत समर्थन

He highlighted the practical approach of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Textiles Minister Giriraj Singh in reducing industry constraints and strengthening the value chain.
टेक्सटाइल मंत्रालय ने PLI Scheme और National Technical Textiles Mission जैसी transformational योजनाएं लागू की हैं, जिनसे उद्योग की क्षमता हर स्तर पर बढ़ रही है।
Under the PLI scheme, 17 newly approved companies have committed investments of ₹2,374 crore, which is driving significant momentum in the sector.
