India’s Upstream Journey में नया कदम: IOC ने Gujarat के Jyoti-1 से Production शुरू किया

Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) ने Monday को घोषणा की कि Gujarat में Jyoti-1 well से पहली domestic production शुरू हो गई है। यह India की upstream energy journey में एक महत्वपूर्ण milestone माना जा रहा है।

🔧🌍 “Small but Significant” Milestone: Puri

Union Petroleum Minister Hardeep Singh Puri ने social media पर बताया कि:

“यह छोटा लेकिन महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, जो India की upstream progress को मजबूत करेगा।”

IOC ने 14 November 2025 को Block CB-ONN-2005/9 के IUVL साइट से production शुरू किया।

Puri के अनुसार यह revival IOC के लिए एक turning point है क्योंकि कंपनी अब upstream sector में renewed push कर रही है।

🏭🔋 Energy Independence के मिशन से जुड़ा प्रयास

Minister Puri ने कहा कि यह achievement:

• Government के energy independence मिशन से align है

• Domestic resources को optimize करने की दिशा में बड़ा कदम है

• Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, DGH और IOCL की coordinated efforts का परिणाम है

उन्होंने सभी teams को India की upstream capabilities आगे बढ़ाने के लिए बधाई दी।

🔄⛽ India की Energy Security को मजबूत करने पर फोकस

Indian Oil की यह नई production ऐसे समय में आई है जब सरकार:

• Domestic production

• Fuel sourcing diversification

• International partnerships

तीनों पर parallel focus कर रही है।

🇺🇸🛢️ पहली बार US से LPG Import Deal भी हुआ Final

इसी दिन सुबह Minister Puri ने बताया कि Indian PSU oil companies ने पहली बार US से LPG import करने का historic deal किया है:

• 1-year contract for 2026

• 2.2 MTPA LPG sourcing from US Gulf Coast

• India का LPG market दुनिया के सबसे बड़े और fastest-growing markets में से एक है

यह कदम India की fuel security को और मजबूत करेगा।
