Jaipur। commodity exchange NCDEX को SEBI से mutual fund platform लॉन्च करने की मंजूरी मिल गई है, जिसकी clearing National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) द्वारा की जाएगी। इसका उद्देश्य rural areas तक पहुंच का विस्तार करना और भविष्य में equity और derivatives के प्रवेश के लिए तैयारी करना है।
National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) को Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) से mutual fund (MF) transaction platform शुरू करने के लिए in-principle approval मिल गई है। यह equity और equity derivatives में प्रस्तावित प्रवेश की दिशा में पहला कदम है।
NCDEX ने कहा कि MF platform equity trading system से स्वतंत्र रूप से काम करेगा, जिससे exchange इसे कम समय में शुरू कर सकेगा।
mutual fund subscription और redemption orders की clearing और settlement NCDEX की wholly owned subsidiary, National Commodity Clearing Limited (NCCL) द्वारा की जाएगी।
कंपनी management के अनुसार, “equity investments शुरू करने से पहले mutual fund platform की शुरुआत करना एक strategic decision है। mutual funds निवेशकों के लिए एक starting point प्रदान करते हैं और savings को regulated investment options में लगाने में मदद करते हैं। प्रस्तावित platform का उद्देश्य small-ticket SIPs जैसी सुविधाओं के माध्यम से mutual fund investments तक पहुंच का विस्तार करना है, विशेष रूप से rural और semi-urban areas में। इसका उद्देश्य existing trading members को एक additional business opportunity प्रदान करना और equity segment के लॉन्च से पहले cash market base तैयार करना भी है।”**
यह कदम capital markets participation बढ़ाने के regulatory efforts के अनुरूप है। mutual funds निवेशकों को relatively low investment के साथ SEBI-regulated और exchange-driven system के माध्यम से diversified, professionally managed portfolios में निवेश का अवसर प्रदान करते हैं।
2003 में स्थापित NCDEX, SEBI-regulated exchange है और मुख्य रूप से agri और other commodity derivatives पर केंद्रित है। exchange ने एक multi-segment exchange के रूप में कार्य करने की अपनी long-term strategy के तहत equity और equity derivatives में विस्तार करने की योजना बनाई है।
