नई दिल्ली। भारत की प्रमुख Space-Tech Startup Pixxel ने Series C Funding Round में $100 Million जुटाए हैं। कंपनी के अनुसार, यह भारत की किसी Space Technology कंपनी द्वारा एक बार में जुटाई गई सबसे बड़ी Funding है। इस निवेश के साथ Pixxel की कुल Funding बढ़कर $195 Million हो गई है।
Growth और Space Technology पर फोकस
Bengaluru-headquartered Pixxel ने बताया कि नई Funding का इस्तेमाल Satellite Sensing, Earth Intelligence Software और Commercial तथा Sovereign Missions के लिए Space Systems के विस्तार में किया जाएगा। कंपनी ने शुरुआत Hyperspectral Satellites के साथ की थी, जो सामान्य Satellite Imagery से अधिक विस्तृत जानकारी हासिल करने में सक्षम हैं।
Honeybee Constellation को मिलेगी रफ्तार
Series C Funding से कंपनी अपनी Next-Generation Honeybee Hyperspectral Constellation के Development में तेजी लाएगी। इसमें Shortwave Infrared (SWIR), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) और Ultra-High-Resolution Optical Imaging जैसी नई तकनीकें शामिल होंगी। पहला Honeybee Satellite वर्ष 2027 में Launch होने की उम्मीद है।
Aurora Platform का होगा विस्तार
Pixxel अपने Aurora Platform को भी विकसित करेगी, जो अलग-अलग Datasets को जोड़कर उन्हें Decision-Ready Insights में बदलने का काम करता है। कंपनी Civil, Defence और Intelligence Applications के लिए Sovereign Earth Observation Systems पर भी काम बढ़ाएगी।
भारत और अमेरिका में Manufacturing Capacity बढ़ेगी
कंपनी भारत और United States में Satellite Manufacturing Capacity बढ़ाने की योजना बना रही है। पिछले दो वर्षों में Pixxel ने छह Firefly Satellites तैनात किए हैं और Aurora Launch किया है। कंपनी को NASA और U.S. National Reconnaissance Office से Contracts भी मिल चुके हैं।
भारत के Earth Observation Mission में भूमिका
Pixxel को IN-SPACe के तहत भारत के पहले Public-Private Earth Observation Constellation की 12 Satellites वाली योजना का नेतृत्व करने के लिए चुना गया है। कंपनी के Founder और CEO Awais Ahmed ने कहा कि Hyperspectral Imaging ने Earth को देखने का एक नया तरीका दिया है।
